'You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth' Khalil Gibran.

This week we're celebrating my favourite part of childhood, the joy of reading. As a child I always had my head in a book and it seems that Iris is going the same way!

Nothing makes me prouder than watching these two play happily together especially when they are playing with books. I am proud that Iris enjoys books, granted at the moment it's mainly chewing the corners, stroking the pictures and turning the pages but I hope her love of stories will grow as she starts to understand more. I'm also super proud of Ian for laying peacefully by her side and letting her share her books with him, even if it does mean he occasionally gets clonked on the head.

Thank you for supporting me on my journey to raise awareness about mothers on the autistic spectrum. We do exist, we just need people to know we do!
