Living Arrows | Peeking Through The Porthole

'You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth' Khalil Gibran.

This picture really was captured in the moment. Iris only has one speed and that speed is super sonic. She flies around everywhere, running at top speed. She simply cannot walk despite being told to do so several times. Her head was in this porthole for a matter of seconds, I was so fortunate to get such a good picture of her before she raced off.

This week's picture was taken at the main park in our town. It's not the park we usually go to but we fancied a change. I like the area as it's where our local library is situated but sadly that's not open at the moment due to it being destroyed by flooding last November and Covid-19 putting the repairs on hold.

The park was very busy with lots of older children, it was a little intimidating and not very Covid-19 compliant. I definitely prefer the smaller park that's just around the corner from us. It maybe smaller but there's usually only us there so it's much more relaxing to attend.

Thanks for reading.

  2. We have been trying so many parks in the hope of finding quieter ones. So many around here are still closed too. She sounds like such a ball of energy! x

Thank you for supporting me on my journey to raise awareness about mothers on the autistic spectrum. We do exist, we just need people to know we do!
