Living Arrows | Happy Birthday To You!

 You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth' Khalil Gibran.   

You'll have to excuse us for missing last week's Living Arrows post but we were immensely busy celebrating this not-so-little ones third birthday! I can't quite comprehend that she's three already. They warn you that time flies when you become a parent but nothing could have prepared me for how unsettling that passage of time can be.

She's become so independent over the last few weeks. She insists on doing everything herself, she point blank refuses help up until the point where she's ready to implode from frustration. It's fascinating to watch how she's piecing the world together now. She seems so far from the toddler she was at the start of the year and seems so much more like a little girl. She's developing her own thoughts and feelings and she's not afraid to share them- just yesterday she told me that I'm old! I'm so excited to see what age three holds.
