Living Arrows | It's Flaming June Already!

'You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth' Khalil Gibran.

Another half term over and done with and the first week of June has been and gone. I say it a lot but isn't time flying? I don't know how we are 6 months into the year, it's gone by in a blur. Iris spent 3 nights at my Mum and Step Dad's caravan so Daddy and I had 3 child free days. Daddy went to work and in our spare time we went to B&Q. We know how to live.

Iris had a great time at the van. There is another family that visits at the same time so Iris got to play with people her own age. They went to the park, the beach, the rides and the arcades. There were fish and chips, donkey rides and ice creams galore. She's told me every single thing in the most minute detail- I even know what colour cup she and her friends had their drinks in. She had the most wonderful time and I am so thankful that things are resembling normal and she gets to spend time with family and gets to try new things. We're still following the guidance on masks, handwashing and physical distance plus we're testing regularly. If things have to stay this way then to be honest I'm happy.

Thank you for supporting me on my journey to raise awareness about mothers on the autistic spectrum. We do exist, we just need people to know we do!
